The Texas Influence Shines On-

Jim hails from Houston Texas where he was influenced early by the likes of ZZ-Top, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the Doobie Brothers just to name a few.  Songs like Steppenwolf's "Born to be Wild" are right on target with Jim's songwriting style. 

Since leaving Houston, Jim has lived in Phoenix, AZ.,  Austin, TX., El Paso, TX. and overseas in Hong Kong. Jim currently resides in San Jose, California with his dog Buddy.

Jim started as a rock drummer back in the 70's and has played drums for a few bands since then. Over the years, he has become competent in playing guitars, keyboards, vocals and bass in addition to the drums. In the studio, he is a one man band cranking out the tracks for every instrument you hear.

His professional career is with high-tech semiconductor products where he started right after college in 1985. His most recent position was product marketing director for ZiLOG Inc in San Jose Ca. In fact, Zilog's Z8 Encore! Flash product family was conceived by Jim.
